In 2007 I had the idea to start raising alpacas. Our herd was made up of all full Peruvian Huacaya but we are adding animals with Bolivian and Chilean blood lines. We intend to breed healthy, high quality animals. We will never tell a customer alpacas are low maintenance, trouble free animals to make a sale. Just like anything else, they get sick, they need alot of attention and you "get" as good as the care YOU put into them. I love my job and have all that joy alpacas bring me everytime I am with them. .

It is now 2009. As the economy has gotten worse, the time line for our goal has changed. We've had to push it back but we don't regret anything we've started. Alpaca farmers are among the luckiest people in the world. We love our jobs and have all that joy alpacas bring us everytime we are with them. What a gig!

We are currently limited to doing driveby breedings at Northernbell Alpacas. This will change to include Mobile breedings in the future. Have a great day and our best to you.
